L'Wren SCOTT

Image Marker

From top model to top stylist, from Los Angeles to New York to Paris. Eclecticism has always been the driving force in the career of L'Wren Scott. Once walking the runways for Chanel, now styling Karl Lagerfeld's shows, Scott has risen to the top of her profession. Her continuing collaborationwith photographers such as Herb Ritts, Karl Lagerfeld, Patrick Demarchelier, and Helmut Newton, and her singular sense of style keep her a strong presence in Vanity Fair, French Vogue, Italian Vogue, German Vogue, Rolling Stone, and many other magazines. When L'Wren moved to Hollywood she brought high glamour with her. With her celebrity clientele, Scott is the only stylist to move between high fashion and big box office. Thanks in large part to Scott's influence, couture on the red carpet has become a reality, extending to the Oscar broadcast itself as Scott was the first ever Style Director for the Oscars in 2000. Scott has left her mark on the corporate world as the Creative Director of campaigns for Absolut Vodka, Tag Heuer, Pirelli calendar, among others. In addition, Scott was the Costume Designer or Style Consultant on such films as Eyes Wide Shut, Mission Impossible 2, Diabolique, and Mercy. Now under contract with Fox Searchlight Films, Scott is currently writing and will direct her third short film starring Julianne Moore and Ellen Barkin. Scott currently resides in New York and Los Angeles.
