Federico Marchetti founded YOOX in 2000 after working at Lehman Brothers as an expert in the luxury goods sector, and at Bain & Co. as a strategic consultant. Marchetti, who studied economics at Bocconi University in Milan, also received an MBA from the Columbia Business School in New York. Over the years, he has served as advisor to several CEOs in the fashion industry, both in Europe and the U.S.
