When did I start out in the rag trade? At 17, in the first jeans shop in my city, Turin. This marked the start of my professional career, following up the development of products, ideas and new trends at source, i.e. in the United States. Since then, this world has become my home.
For 20 years, I worked as stylist for more than 400 brands including NorthSails, Fila, Geospirit, Nautica, Peuterey, Henry Lloyd, LaMartina, Brooksfield, Cotton Belt and others. Until the day on which I was overwhelmed by an urge to create something new, with a really different approach and mind-set, able to attract attention on a crowded marketplace.
Hence, the birth of Jaggy. A project that has taken shape through encounters with people with whom I share the same business vision: Amodeo Bovicelli and Flavio Billeri, both friends and partners. Working together, the maison has expanded, becoming even more solid while maintaining its unique style: classical and contemporary, traditional and innovative, but first and foremost extremely wearable. Like all Batrax clothes.
