1981 Inauguration of the showroom in Milan.

1983 Debut on the Milano catwalks.

1987 Birth of Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, dedicated to the younger generation.

1994 Montegridolfo reopens its gates. With a long and enthusiastic effort Alberta Ferretti and her brother bring the small medieval village back to life.

1994 Inauguration of Palazzo Donizetti, the Milano showroom; a building constructed in an eclectic style around 1920 and attributed to Piero Portaluppi, a prominent exponent of the “Novecento Milanese” period.

1996 Opening of the showroom in New York 56th Street in a building designed by C.P.H. Gilbert in 1902 for the banker Henry Seligman. Completely restored in the European classical style which tones down even the most opulent details by the use of pale colours, it houses all the lines produced by Aeffe.

1998 She was nominated “Cavaliere del Lavoro” by the President of the Italian Republic Oscar Luigi Scalfaro. Opening of the Philosophy boutique in Soho, New York, with the collaboration of architect David Ling.

2000 Alberta Ferretti received an honorary degree for the restoration of Montegridolfo from the University of Bologna.

2001 Thanks to the acquisition of Pollini, she completes the Alberta Ferretti and Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti collections with their respective accessory lines.

2001Launch of the Alberta Ferretti and Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti accessory, underwear and beachwear collections.

2003 Alberta Ferretti consolidates her visibility in the most important capitals of the world with the opening of boutiques in Moscow and Paris, in addition to the existing ones in Milan, Rome, Capri, Tokyo, New York, London, Taipei.

2005 Alberta Ferretti receives an Award for her Career from the Major of Rome Walter Veltroni and presents, in the charming Campidoglio Square in Rome, her first “Prêt – à – Couture” collection.

2005 Alberta Ferretti receives the Award “The Romantics” from the International Fashion Group, in occasion of the annual event Night of Stars in New York.

2006 The growing success allows the opening of others monobrand stores in Kaliningrad, Russia and in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

2007 Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti shows for the first time in New York and still shows there.

2007 Alberta Ferretti cruise collection shows for the first time in New York in Aeffe Usa townhouse.

2008 Alberta Ferretti enters into a licensing agreement with Elizabeth Arden for the development, marketing and distribution of the Alberta Ferretti fragrance.

2008 Opening of the first US flagship store in Los Angeles at 8626 Melrose Avenue.

2008 Alberta Ferretti receives the award as Best Designer of the year from Marie Claire Spain.

2008Opening of the showroom in Paris in Rue Caffarelli in the Marais.

2009Alberta Ferretti launched her new fragrance “ Alberta Ferretti”
