CHEN Dapeng
Executive Vice President, China National Garment Association
Mr. Chen Dapeng, senior economist, was born in Weihai, Shandong Province of China on Sep. 16, 1965 and graduated from Department of Politics, Shanghai Fudan University as a bachelor of laws in 1987.
Since 1987, Mr. Chen has successively held some positions, including: Deputy Director of International Cooperation Department, China National Textile Council (1992-1998); Deputy Director of Exhibition Department and then Director of No. 2 Exhibition Department of the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT TEX) (1998-March 2002); Deputy Director of Marketing Department, China National Textile & Apparel Council (CNTAC) , Vice President and Secretary General of China National Garment Association (Dec. 2002-Nov. 2011).
Now he is Executive Vice President of China National Garment Association (CNGA).
CNGA is committed to industrial quality promotion, industrial structure adjustment and growth pattern innovation. Based on the cultivation, support and upgrading of Chinese original fashion brands, CNGA attaches most importance to the communication and coordination between upstream and downstream enterprises, and between enterprises and government, as well as the promotion of international cooperation.
