Frédéric Rouzaud, led by a strong passion for wine, is committed to respecting the tradition and spirit of modernity that distinguish the Group Roederer. Frédéric ROUZAUD, who succeeded his father Jean-Claude, continues the pursuit of excellence that carcterizes Maison Louis Roederer both in the manifacture of Champagne Louis Roederer (3 million bottles sold annually, including the legendary Cristal, in more than 80 countries), and of the other wines of the family (in fact, Louis Roederer also owns Roederer Estate and Schaffenberger in California, Maison Delas Frères in the Rhone Valley, the Port Adriano Ramos-Pinto, and Château Haut-Beauséjour and Château de Pez -Saint-Estèphe- and Champagne Deutz). The taste for art and an active policy of patronage
A lover of art and intrigued in the various expressions of art, Frédéric ROUZAUD has always supported and encouraged the policy of Roederer group on patronage. So since 2003, Maison Champagne Louis Roederer has been deeply involved in the creation and development of the Gallery of photograph of the “Bibliothèque Nationale de France”, allowing the organization of major exhibitions and setting up, in 2006, the “Bourse de recherche Louis Roederer pour la photographie” to encourage young researchers in this field. In 2007, Frédéric ROUZAUD sought to strengthen this collaboration by providing a new dimension through the website « A la Recherche de l’œuvre » giving resonance to the strong link between the development of the Champagne and the work of the artist. This affinity with the world of creative carries out Frédéric ROUZAUD to support numerous artistic and cultural events; here is that Maison Louis Roederer becomes a partner of “Prix de Flore”, of “Festivalandco”, of the Design Museum in Tokyo.

Frédéric ROUZAUD was awarded, in 2010, the “Prix de Grand Mécène de la Culture”.

Champagne Louis Roederer continues and strengthens its action creating the Louis Roederer Foundation for Contemporary Art in February 2012 and signed an agreement with the new “Palais de Tokyo”, reopened in April of the same year.
