Executive Chef, Ristorante VUN - Park Hyatt Milano

Born in Naples, 37-year-old Andrea Aprea is the executive chef of Restaurant VUN at Park Hyatt Milano. 
His culinary experience was built up through working both in Italy and abroad.

His cuisine expresses itself through three simple foundations: technique, innovation and respect for the Italian gastronomic tradition.

Starting from a careful selection of raw materials, the style of Aprea is based on experimentation and continuous research using his experience gained in the kitchens of the most important restaurants in Europe.

In addition to his last position as executive chef at the restaurant Il Comandante at the Romeo Hotel in Naples, he has worked as a chef at Gentlemen in Sirmione on Lake Garda. 
Chef Aprea has also worked in England at the Relais Gourmand Restaurant (three Michelin stars), Bray on Thames, Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck and Michel Roux’s The Waterside Inn. 
Andrea also has experience in two Michelin-starred restaurants, such as Rossellinins restaurant at Palazzo Sasso in Ravello and at The Ledbury in London as well as in Italy at the Bulgari Restaurant in Milan and in Asia at the KL Plaza in Kuala Lumpur.
