Creative Director, WGSN

Instrumental in establishing WGSN in 1998, Kennington developed WGSN’s editorial and creative teams, positioning WGSN as the world’s leading online research, trend analysis and news service for the fashion professional.
She graduated from London’s Royal College of Art in the late 70s, at that time setting up her own fashion design label, and becoming part of London’s early 80s cutting-edge ‘new wave’.
The late 80s and 90s saw Kennington moving into the field of design consultancy working on researching forward trends, and developing product and styling solutions for many companies from Textile View magazine to UK giant Marks & Spencer plc.
In late 1997, having developed the concept of WGSN with its founders, she was invited to join the newly founded company to put concept into action – and here we are today, almost 10 years later, with WGSN established as the world’s leader in online design communication.
