Andrea SULLIVAN
International Executive Global Environment, Social & Governance
Andrea oversees Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Environment, Social and Governance (‘ESG’) efforts in markets outside of the USA. In this role, she leads on the environment, community engagement, arts & culture, governance and sustainable business practices, and focuses on the strategic alignment and integration of ESG within BofA Merrill’s business objectives.
Andrea joined the bank in 2011 as head of Europe, Middle East and Africa ESG and took on Asia Pacific, Latin America and Canada in May 2016. Prior to joining the company, Andrea was a managing director at Lehman Brothers. She has also been the Chief Executive of the Lehman Brothers Foundation Europe and has held various roles focusing on business strategy, marketing and communications, including at British Sky Broadcasting, the Lego Company and Lifetime Television. She is a trained lawyer and started her career working in corporate mergers and acquisitions.
She holds a BA degree in the Political Implications of Art from Lafayette College and a Juris Doctorate from NYU School of Law. She is on various boards and committees including Create London, Mousetrap Theatre Projects, Bridge’s Social Entrepreneurs Fund and the Arts Impact Fund. She has two young adults and has resided in London for the past 24 years.
