WIND

Wind Telecomunicazioni SpA, one of Europe’s largest operators, offers fixed and mobile phone and Internet service. With its Wind Business brand, it addresses the market of SMEs and large companies, providing high-value convergent solutions combined with considerable cost optimization. The results confirm Wind Business’s strong attention to the needs of companies, which demand increasingly advanced technological and commercial solutions. Clear, simple, and transparent costs, and applications that help professionals in their daily work, are the demands that Italy’s SMEs make from telephony leaders. Wind, through its business-dedicated division, pays a great deal of attention to small- and medium-sized outfits, and to professionals. Indeed, corporate management sets itself ambitious goals for SMEs. Wind Business’s objective is always to understand this sector’s needs, without limiting itself to large companies. Wind Business has focused “attention on cost control by companies, and on the demand for easy-to-interpret offers that conceal no surprises,” all in a setting of strong competitiveness, in which the company is still considered “an aggressive player in the telecommunications world, in the business area.” Wind’s corporate management is an outfit born from years of work specializing in the business world, on the strength of the skills it accumulated managing major customers, and then capitalized on for other companies and for a market ranging from V.A.T. registration holders to medium and large-sized organizations.

Cassina

Cassina, the mark of authenticity

Culture and industry. Culture as the capacity to appreciate one’s roots and to imagine new beginnings. Industry as the ability to create with technological inventiveness and excellence in quality. An authentic expression of thinking and designing.
Cassina, founded by Cesare and Umberto Cassina in 1927, launched industrial design in Italy during the 50’s. In the rich and complex turmoil of that era, the company was pioneering in the way it showed a striking inclination for research and innovation, working side by side with important architects and designers with differing backgrounds and encouraging them to envision fresh designs, a characteristic that still distinguishes the company today. Cassina’s identity lies in an innovative fusion that closely links technological skill with traditional craftsmanship. True to this identity, the company preserves its traditional passion for carpentry for which it is known worldwide and that is still the hub around which its designs are centred.
Cassina has received three Compasso d’Oro prizes for individual products and in 1991 it was awarded the Compasso d’Oro award in recognition of “its innovative role and forerunning international approach within the Italian cultural and manufacturing sector”. In 1964 the Cassina I Maestri Collection began with the acquisition of the exclusive worldwide rights to reproduce four models designed by Le Corbusier (who was living at the time) together with Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. Over the following years this collection has exclusively brought together some of the most iconic furniture by the great architects of modern classics working in close collaboration with the heirs and official foundations (Gerrit T. Rietveld, Charles R. Mackintosh, E. Gunnar Asplund, Frank Lloyd Wright, Charlotte Perriand and Franco Albini). An attentive philological reconstruction that discovers and enhances the innovative heart of each project, even in light of the most advanced technological solutions.
Today many important Italian and international designers and architects have collaborated and continue to collaborate for the Cassina I Contemporanei Collection including: Vico Magistretti, Gio Ponti, Mario Bellini, Gaetano Pesce, Rodolfo Dordoni, Philippe Starck and Piero Lissoni. A mesh of stimulating ideas, from which Cassina always draws the best. This transversal culture of absolute quality defines the uniqueness of each Cassina piece.
The Cassina brand has a strong retail network throughout the world with its own DOS (Directly Owned Stores) in Milan, Paris and New York. Since 2005 Cassina has been part of the Poltrona Frau Group, worldwide leader in the high-end furnishing sector and international spokesperson for the best design made in Italy.

Guido Guidi

Quintilio Guidi founded the company as a fine food shop in November 1937. It was located at 144/r Via del Ponte alle Mosse in Florence, which is now home to the company’s official headquarters.

In the 1970s, the creative-minded Guido Guidi started a home catering service. In the following years, the new catering business established itself more and more and it eventually became the main focus of the company.
We started providing our services abroad on an occasional basis in the late 1990s and it has now become a core part of our business.

Over 70 years since it was founded, Guido Guidi (which is currently run by Guido’s sons Tommaso, Giacomo and Matteo, the current head and director of the company) now specializes exclusively in banqueting, the organization and staging of events, venue decoration, and most importantly playing a leading role in the catering field.
Our customers in Italy and abroad include the biggest political and institutional authorities, the top financial, insurance and banking firms, numerous famous fashion houses and car manufacturers, and countless private customers.

For a few years now, it has been possible to sample the company’s cuisine in the Teatro della Pergola on Via della Pergola in Florence.

Our latest project is rather ambitious. In addition to our select Italian products, we are aiming to export our know-how of the things that make events unique, such as the continual search for outstanding flavours, attention to detail and experience in the staging of dinners and gala evenings.
